Hey, I'm Josh - a Nashville local.
I'm a Nashville native with a serious obsession with hot chicken. I grew up in this city and have spent years eating my way through every corner of the scene - from the Eastside institutions that started it all to the newer spots putting their own spin on the tradition.
What started as a personal quest to find the city's best bird turned into this site. After one too many conversations with visiting friends and family asking "where should I go?", I figured the least I could do was write it all down. I eat my chicken at Hot most days - though I've worked my way up to Extra Hot on occasion and lived to tell about it. I live in East Nashville, and yes, I have strong opinions about every restaurant on this list.
